Conures under the paper

I am interested to know others experience with conures.
Several of the conures I have owned have decided to actually sleep under the newspaper at the bottom of their cages. The first one to do it I remember looking in the cage to think where she had disappeared to then seeing the newspaper move and realising she had gone underneath it. I then found other conures decided to sleep under the paper. However when i mentioned this to the lady who breed my last two greencheeks she had not known this in her own conures. Now one of the two I had from her has started to go under the paper at times.
So conure owners do your conures go under the paper or no.

AW Gilbert does this and i have never seen another bird do it. I thought he was such a little goofball. Georgie would NEVER EVER do something like this.
Gilbert is also into 'floor play' a lot, chews the hanging toys down and rolls around on the bottom of the cage with them. Something else Georgie would not do. I almost NEVER saw her touch the bottom of the cage. To get to something on the floor, she would slide down the bars of the cage and grab it, never touching the bottom.
