Conures named Charlie...

Hi all,

Been doing allot of reading in the conure section and discovered that there is allot of conures that is named Charlie as well. My Sun is named Charlie. So I was just curious..... Does any of your Charlie's say its name?

Charlie, my mitred conure, came with his name. He was named Charlie by his first owner, and he says "Hi Char-LEE!" and "Charlie-suarus!" He learned the second one in his foster home.

Here's a video when I was trying to get him to say "Big Feather", but he was more interested in saying Charliesaurus! LOL Forgive me though, the video is completely black. This is because he was in his sleep cage, and at the time, I had a silver camera which he didn't like at all! So it was easiest to record him talking when he couldn't see it!

We have been known to have "Hi Char-LEE" conversations.... most often when we go somewhere. Going there, we say it back and forth, but not nearly as much once we're heading home.

That's so funny! I've also remarked that there seem to be a lot of conures named Charlie out there.

My conure is named Charlie, but I didn't choose it for him. His previous owner named him that, and I don't think it suits him. I've thought of changing it to something similar (like Harley or Chili), but I don't know if that would bother him or not.
