Has anyone got any talking vids of the conure that people might like to see could be interesting to see how many do talk

There are some if you search on youtube, but remember, most conures talk like toddlers in that its hard to understand them, unless you're their parent...if you've spent time with little kids that will make more sense.

Talking is not a big thing with conures, and most don't learn any words.

This is Rosco doing his entire inventory of talking and noises. I translate a little bit in it.

Gilbert is a chatterbox but a lot of it is sort of 'baby talk'. I can definitely understand a lot of it though. "go poop", "good boy", "you're such a good bird", "gilly", "come on, Gilbert!"
I probably have something fairly recent....i'll find something and add it to this....

That's too funny! Ducati and the dogs kept looking at my laptop like, "What the #3!! is going on?" Like the game happening in the background too btw. GO WINGS!

ruffledfeathers that is too adorable. I can definitely here "Gilbert's a good boy".

Hard to tell, really. It is depends so much on the individual bird. I don't know how old Rosco is. He is a rescue with no history. But I'm guestimating between 5 & 10 years old. I've had him for about 3 years now. He first did the sneeze fairly soon after I adopted him. The rest of the talking is a recent thing. He started about 6 months or so ago. I have been trying to get him to learn something else but he just sits on my laptop lid, cocks his head at me and refuses to listen. I figure he will pick up something sooner or later but I don't expect him to have a large vocabulary. Considering how much of a brat he is he will probably learn something like "@#!$" from a movie or if I decide to have a potty mouth for some reason. And no doubt it will become his favorite. ;)

Mango my family's recent yellow sided gc addition has spoken a few words already. some good some not so good. I yelled clearly "step up" the other night when covering him up for bed. Though like others have mentioned, they do speak alot of gibberish which is easy to tell apart from the screeches and whistles they make.

My yellow green cheek (had for three weeks) can mumble tickle, hello, and kissing noises. Mostly when we put her in the sleep cage for the night

Conner supposedly had a pretty good vocabulary when I received him @ 3months old, yet we never got him or heard him say anything he was supposed to be able to say. Unfortunately the very first thing he picked up was "What the Hell" apparently from me yet I rarely ever curse, that was from when I was playing a video game. Since then he quickly picked up a really good sneeze imitation from me, "Take a Bath", "Go Night Night", "Hello and Hello Conner", "good Morning", & "Want A Cracker".

Keep in mind Clyde(Friskytiger) has a Mitred conure, which is a different type than your green cheek. Some conures like Blue Crowns, Mitreds, etc just have a "clearer" voice.
Here's a video of my white-eared conure, Kiwi, saying her name: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dhk_oxE5eg&feature=youtu.be"]Kiwi says her name - YouTube[/ame]

That's the clearest thing she says, and it's still rather "raspy". (She is not DNA'd female, so she could be a he.) Forgive the lighting and the covered cage, she's most talkative in the mornings/evenings. She also mumbles other things, I think she says "Hey birdies!" and says my other bird's name, Pascal. But I'm not sure. Green cheeks and similar species(white-eared, maroon-belly, etc) aren't well known for talking ability, but every bird is different, and yours may pick up something one day. :)
