I always pet my conure but when I touch her tail it is wet. I don't know what this mean. People say they use there tail to measure the temperature of their water.:rainbow1:

Feathers are made out of the same material as hair. The feather is dead and cannot feel anything in any part of it besides the follicle, so measuring water temps would be impossible.

No idea why her tail would be wet. Maybe her water bowl is below a perch or something and she happens to always stick her tail into it by accident?
