Conure scared me

Well my BCC I got Saturday started breathing funny through her mouth yesterday. She would open her beak and take a big breath. I thought she was getting sick and possibly had a respiratory infection. (I was so thankful I had her on the opposite end of the house from my sun conure since my bcc is in quarantine.) So I rush her in to have her checked out. They tell me she looks to be in perfect health and asks me why I think that she can't breathe. (She doesn't do that noise there) I make phone calls to the place I got her from only to find out the woman who gave her up had asthma. My bird is pretending to use an inhaler, really?!! :11: The next thing I know someone in the office coughs and wouldn't you know it, Maggie coughs. Talk about feeling like the biggest fool.

it's pretty funny actually. At least you know your bird is healthy now!
