conure plucking...

...no, not herself. Me! She sits on me and plucks out my hairs. I've got sections of my arms that are covered in red bumps where she's plucked out all my hairs. Does any one else's conure do this?! It's kind of funny watching her feeling out with her tongue where the hairs are then tugging them out!

Your post cracked me up! My conure, Phoe doesn't do that. That does sound kind of painful, though What will she do when she runs out of hairs, I wonder?

Both of my conures like grooming my hair. Jayde likes to pick at (but not pluck) my head hair and both she and Charlie like to groom my eyelashes and sometimes eyebrows. So glad they don't pluck my hairs out!

Oh no! My conure pulls my hair all the time, but not really pulls it 'out' - he is a very gentle baby. He tries to pull hair on my arms, but it's so thin and light that he cannot get it. LOL

Yeah she plays with my hair, and tries to groom my eyelashes and eyebrows. She never plucks my head hair but she likes to pull my arm hairs out. Little cretin. It's a good thing she's cute.
