Conure Cages

I have 3 GC conures all born in June 2012. We recently moved and we no longer have room for their 3 18*18*57” cages (that came with them when we got them). Interior Dimensions: Width 23" Depth 21" Height 20" (each cage) which is comparable to their current cage with the exception of the height. My babes are usually in cages at night 9pm 6am and 5 hours every day. When they are out, they are on one shoulders or playstands.

Moku (small but mighty alpha female)
Mahina (the tiny goofy usually upside down male)
Pua (skittish chunkamuffin female)

the size seems like it should be ok for GCCs (they sure do look too small for the birds in the advertisement though, at least to me). I just wonder about wonder about how the bottom two will feel about being so low and close to the ground. Are they used to seeing each other during the part of the days when in the cage? Do you have a 6 or 8 foot wall that you can put a shelf on and place 3 cages there? Or maybe a corner for shelves where one cage will be in the corner and the other two along side.

That was my fear, they are all best friends and very used to seeing each during the day and they even pass millet sprays (too cute) between the cages.

We are in a fairly rural area with lots of birds of prey. We had an owl nearly go through our window trying to get the birds at the last house and they were on the opposite wall! The new house is more windows than walls so that is were I am running out of luck.

I do have cabinets at the top of the stairs overlooking the foyer/family room. They are about 5 1/2 feet wide with a 20" gap. Maybe I should go that route?

Any thoughts about having birds in the bedroom? It's the only part of the house that has plenty of room.
