Constipated maybe

Can a parrot get constipation ?

Only today it seems she is struggling a little to go to the toilet and it hangs there in a string until she moves it her self. Is it a somthing to be worried about ?

Is this something NEW or has this always happened ... if it is something NEW that is happening then I would consult your avian vet ASAP ... She might have gotten into something that she shouldn't have ... then again, maybe she's just constipated, but why take that chance.

Look at the droppings.
Are they the same as last week?
Do they have a solid centre with the white watery stuff round the outside?
Is he drinking?
You obviously care for your bird coz you noticed a change in him.

I hope your bird is ok man.

Kept an eye on her last night and it seems it might have been a one off because she isnt fluffing up trying to push... will keep an eye on her till this afternnoon to see if its passed.
