concrete perches

any ideas on how to make nuts own concrete perches??

reason i ask is that the only place that i can find in the uk has a £7, p&p and they don't stock much of anything else

Well, if you can find or make a mold, cement isn't hard to work with. Although it might be hard to find a small bag of it to use just for this, and you will have a lot left over. Storing it is hard, too, because the mix will suck up moisture and begin hardening on it's own.

My experience with them though is that they last a very long time, so I do just buy them instead of make them.

Where have you been looking at getting them from sue?

We made a few this past weekend. Just used pvc pipe cut in half, then taped together while the cement dries. They arent done yet. Was easy!
