Thank you very much~but do you have ever seen the jardine looks like this before?Eggshell is grown in China, For the policy reason,we couldn't visit the Twitter,Facebook or YouTube。so we don't know whether there was the bird looks like her in this world.:25:

The base color of the wings is normal, it's the yellow and orange mottling on the wings and body that is definitely not normal for that species. The normal coloration is varying shades of dark green with red at the crown, shoulders and lower legs. That bird appears to be some kind of mutation. It kind of looks like it's been hybridized with a Senegal. Very odd indeed.

你好
Yep, looks like some kind of hybrid, like a Jardine was crossed with a Sun COnure or something. Eggshell - pretty name for a pretty parrot.

As I say I know little or nothing about Jardines but I did a search for you on the internet and found these images and while none of them are as pretty as your friend Eggshell there are a couple with similar colouring
Just click on the link and hopefully you will see them too :)

Possible but unlikely hybrid. None of the Poicephalus have yellow on the backside though. Sometimes organ malfunction can show as off-colored feathers. If you have a vet who sees birds, it would be best to get a blood test for organ function. The bird is still young, so I'd be surprised if malnutrition has showed in this way at this point already, that wouldn't be common.

Please keep in mind, we who are not vets, can only take a guess as to 'why'. No one here can tell you a concrete for sure answer. Good luck :).

It can't be a hybridizer,when she was young,she is definitely a jardine

I remember some time ago when a large number of macaws were rescued in Hawaii? The rescue was posted about on here. But I remember that a lot of the mac's were very yellow when they shouldn't have been, and this was down to a long term bad diet/malnutrition? I'm sure I'm not remember the whole article but what I'm say is definitely get him to a vet before it's worse.

Is your friend's Jardine 'Eggshell' related to your bird 'GuoAi'? Clutchmates?

No,GuoAi was bought from a breeder in local place,GuoAi's parents hatched him, but the eggshell was an artificial incubation bird from another province.
