Coconut celebrating the new year in front of his favorite mirror....

'Nut eats his breakfast in front of this mirror every morning (breakfast being a big piece of broccoli)... so happy he eats broccoli as Rascal won't!

'Nut loves broccoli! ... it keeps him preoccupied for quite come time thank goodness as he is a handful... he likes it when I turn mirror around so he's looking at the magnified side... this makes him look like a HUGE bird then LOL

Rascal HATES sunflower seeds but 'Nut LOVES them... since I gave 'Nut sunflower seed from my hand as a treat he now assumes most of the stuff I hand feed him are a treat... well kind of... doesn't work very well with kale unfortunately!

The way he spreads his wings and prances around in front of the mirror... he thinks he is Mr. Big haha

I'm taking 'Nut and Rascal to have their pedicure (nails done)... will make a video! This will be 'Nut's third time getting his nails done... so he knows the drill. He has scratched up both my shoulders and top of my nose and under my eye he pierced through that super thin tissue with his nails when he decided to fly straight into my face!! I have learned to always cover my face as I walk around the corner so I don't lose any eye because 'Nut will no doubt be flying into the room looking for me...he always does

ROFL! Have you tried flight drills with 'nut? Call him to your shoulder by tapping your shoulder with your hand, ie left hand to right shoulder. It worked with Plum, do not get a bird in my face so often now, just the odd mistake. It focuses them on that landing point when looking for and flying to you.

When I say "CooCoo... come here!" he almost always flys straight onto my shoulder... kind of LOL

He usually lands on my shoulder. The problem with him crashing straight into my face happens when I manage to walk into another room without him noticing I have left the room... then as I walk out of that room he will usually be flying into that room at the same time I am leaving the room (because he's looking for me) and as I round the corner he slams into my face in a head on collision like some maniac!

... so I always cover my face and walk sloooow anytime I leave a room just to be safe

There is no doubt he gets TONS of exercise... all day he's flying onto me... off me.... onto me... off me.... onto me... you get the drill hehe
