Since I have seen a lot of cockatiel owners on the forum and I have posted threads for other species of birds, I figured I would do one for the cockatiel owners on this forum.
So If you own a cockatiel and want to show them off, please post a picture of them here with a little bit of info on them like their personality, how long
you have had them, and what there favorite thing to do is.

I currently have 3 cockatiels. My oldest is going to be 23 this year. He, Redshift, is a retired breeder and I've Had him since he was 2 months old. His mate died when he was 18. She was 19 when she passed. His cage mates are Moon (going to be 3 this year) and Chara (going to be 2 this year). Moon was sold to me as a male and Chara was supposed to be a female, but sings and bangs his beak, so I strongly suspect he's male. . Moon and Chara I call the twins because they looks almost identical except for Moon's lighter tail, leg ring and spot behind his head.

WoW what a trooper and just look at him... He looks exactly like my grey tiel who's less than 2yo.
What do you feed your tiels?

A mix of bird seed, pellets and mash (Bird Street Bistro). Before that, it was mainly seeds, pellets and sprouts.

I think you nailed it on the head, balance is key. There are many people who are anti-seed and that's just so wrong it's cruel
