Hello! Today I spotted my cockatiel sleeping at the bottom of his cage while grinding his beak, I tried to observe him for any signs of illness or oddity but there seems to be no problem at all, he’s playful and eating as usual, dropping is fine, no physical injuries whatsoever. I’m not sure if it’s because he’s too used to sleeping on my leg for his afternoon nap that he’s had a habit of now sleeping on flat surfaces? Can anybody pls advise me on this? Thank you so so much!!

I would keep an eye on him for other signs of illness as sleeping on the cage bottom IS unusual. But maybe you are right that he’s just discovered it’s comfy to sleep that way.
