Cockatiel pin feather just fell out???

My cockatiel has a patch of pin feathers on her head and when I touched one it just came out. She's not bleeding but I've also never heard of this happening

If there's a whole patch of them, maybe they're irritating her a bit and she might have scratched at them or rubbed them against a perch and loosened it and it fell out?

No, it's the first time this happened. She goes to the vet soon, so I could ask them.

It's most LIKELY nothing to be concerned about but rather safe than sorry.
