Cockatiel nare issue?

I'm worried about Solaire's right nare; it looks clogged or something? Should I take him to the vet or is there a safe and easy way to clean it myself?

You can clean it out using a toothpick but hold him still!!!! And do not poke deep. It should come out easily.

Ok thanks!! So is it just dust or something? He's acting like his normal chipper self.

He probably breathe in some dust particles or from his own down that he breath in. They usually will try to get it out themselves using their toe nails.

lol...he must have done that, or it fell out, because now it's gone. I worried for nothing.
