Cockatiel in the snow!!!

We had our first hike with Murzik on Monday - it was over 70F!!! Walked the whole way down to the lake and saw many interesting things like deers, dogs, geese and other birds. Then we went grocery shopping, and Murzik was a star as usual.

It's chilly today though.....crazy weather.....

I didn't even know he was pied! LOL His dad was pure white and mom was normal grey, so he has a bit more white than usual greys. Oh yes, he loves hikes!
It's cold here too Have to wait until it gets nice again.

nice pics! I took Leonard out a little this winter in spite of the cold. A bit of outdoor flying combats cabin fever pretty well, and a short walk is no real bother, Leonard actually seems to like it. His favorite bath conditions are cold water, cold breeze, and bright sun lol You can monitor how well they are maintaining their body temperature pretty easily through their feet, if Leonard's feet start feeling cooler he goes under my sweatshirt where he warms up nice and fast.
