Diamond is about 3½ months now. He got more adept at climbing around after his first week home, but now he's still clumsy. He will chicken out of a certain path he was trying, or get frustrated and want me to just bus him around. Sometimes he falls! I'm keeping the lower part of the cage empty so he won't hit another perch, but can just spread wings and drop. He seems to be unhurt by this, except for his pride.

I'm trying to arrange things so he can navigate to all the places of interest, but he's still challenged by it.

Anything else I should be doing?

I kept all perches, food bowls, toys on the bottom half of the cage until he learned to navigate better. He still falls sometimes from up higher, but barely. My baby is like 4 months now.

By keeping all the perches and such at a lower level is something you should do for a youngster. Or just have them in a smaller cage for the time being, just for night time sleeping purposes. Until they're over their clumsiness. :)

The first day home he decided he didn't want the bottom of the cage anymore. He chose his sleeping perch as the top coil of a boing hanging from the roof.

So I moved all the stuff up higher so he won't fall onto them and hurt his wing.
