Clicker training

So I've been training tekno with the clicker I brought.
Keep in mind this bird was Extremly skittish- he came into me yesterday and got some treats which I was impressed with while using the clicker.
Anyway my q is- I've introduced a piece of dowel and he's at the point where he will have a little peck at it... What would be the next couple of stages for me to aim at?

You can do target traininf with the dowel which is everytime you supply the dowel he touches it, you click and treat and then eventually move it around si he has to walk and stretch to getitand each day cover moreand more of dowel up so he will get used to your hand.

Clicker training is great! There are many youtube videos and websites that explain everything you need to know about clicker training. You should google a few.
