Is it ok to clicker train multiple animals at the same time, ie, in the same room?
Will I confuse my bird if she hears a click and doesn't get a reward or will she see the dog get a treat and associate it?

Animals can be pretty smart when it comes to training! It may confuse them, or they may try to get your attention. Only way to know is to try it and see if they understand the difference between their training times.

Your bird might try to fight for your attention if you're working with the dog in the same room!

I found that working with my conure with the clicker gets my Amazon's attention, but I've never done it with a dog in the same room or with a dog and birds in the same room.

I've actually never used a clicker while training dogs (I train professionally) but I would just focus on the animal that you're working with and not be concerned what the others are doing.

All of my pets are clicker trained (I have 2 cockatiels, a alexandrine parakeet and a cavalier King Charles spaniel). I usually train them in different room, so that they don't get confused. Last time I was training my Alex to turn around, and both my dog and my Alex turn around at the same time. Lol :D

But you sure can try with your parrot and see what happens. They might and try to get your attention though. :)

Hope this helped

If you have any question, feel free to ask me.

Get a second clicker with a different sound. Anything that clicks will work. Even a pen as long as there isn't too much commotion for the animal to hear. I will be clicker training my WBC and my dogs are already clicker trained. I use the same tone for both dogs and even if one is crated in the other room you can hear him panicking when the click happens and he can't race out to receive his treat.
