Cleaning and drying Swaggy and Dewey

Do all birds like showers like these two do, then sit absolutely still while we dry their feathers????

Here's an old video I took using an old phone (i.e. not the best quality - it also had a short recording period....) of when my mitred conure tried to take a bath on a frozen turkey... while we were trying to thaw it out in the sink!!!

Would love to get a video of my other conure taking a bath, however she hates electronics and although I've had her for 4 months, I have yet to see her take a bath! I've caught her after the act, and if I ever caught her during the act, she would quickly leave the dish! LOL I need to set up a spy cam on her!




After bathing though, they do preen for a bit and also sit there and shiver!
