Choosing macaw baby

The breeder has 3 catalina macaws. They are about 7-8 weeks old. I'm not sure if there is any wrong on the baby macaws.
The first and the third seem very active (making noise and play) before I handled them.
The second one is kind of calm, quiet and not active like other. He didn't make much noise and beg for food.
The third one is the smallest one (one week apart) and has a scar on the beak about 3/4" long. I don't know if this will disappear later or will be permanent or have a beak problem later

Between the second and third macaw, could you help me decide which one should I bring him home?:31:

I attached the picture. (The middle one is the the third macaw that has a scar on his beak)

My vote is the left one! He looks healthy and lively:)

That's really a hard call. If I were you I'd try and spend more time with them and see if any one of the three seems to take to you more than the other two. That might be hard to do with limited time to spend with them and because of their young age, but it's worth trying. In the photo they all look like sweet little guys to me.

Agree with plax. You need to spend time them. Let one of them pick you. Let is know how it goes

They're all so adorable! How can you pick just one!? hehe.

I like them all! I think the one in the middle is my favourite, though.

I would suggest going back and playing with them as much as you can, that's the only way to find the one you like best! :)

I would advise you to visit a lot and have them pick you. Spending time with a baby macaw is very important and the sooner you can bond with the baby, the better off both of you will be when it's time to bring them home.
Place all 3 macaws on the floor over a blanket and play with them to see what Macaws responds to you.
Watch for Macaws that like to to be touched and not afraid of hands and fingers, Normally the macaw who comes over to you and wants to be touched, fed, or talked to should be your choice.
Best of luck and remember that all baby macaws change as they get older, some who were shy at first turn out to be very social, some who will go to everyone could become a one person bird so it all depends on the bird. Best of luck Joe

Thanks for all advices. The eldest one seems to respond me the most. So, I bring him/her home. Still have a lot of things to do for this baby.

They are beautiful. The one on the right appears in this picture to have the most vibrant orange. I love my Catalina.

Awwwww! I love seeing baby birds! So cute! I agree with bumblebec. How can you choose just one? :p

With that said, I think you should spend time and play with them and see which one chooses you.
