I just moved him to a new barn. The old barn is being sold and the owner wanted to keep him around so he stayed there while most of the other horses moved. I got a phone call last week that the barn was being sold now and he had to be out right away..I wanted to kill her just a little but luckily the barn that I've always liked had an opening. I had called them when I originally moved into the area but they didn't have any spots open then. By chance when we called this time they had the frist opening in years! The atmosphere at this barn is a perfect fit and I'm so happy I was able to move him here!
While getting my stuff together to load everything up onto the trailer to get Chip and his accessories to the new barn I discovered that quite a few of my things disappeared....including Chips nice blanket. Apparently the other boarders decided my stuff was nice enough to steal....so I bought a new blanket, lead ropes and halter (which was ripped up but I had never been told that this had happened...) and of course had to get some photos of him in his new stuff!
And the goats at the new barn! They act more like dogs than goats....they tried to steal the expensive horse treats I bought Chip...threatened to introduce them to the retics but they were not impressed...
