Ok, super excited about my epiphany and success. I've been wanting to start flight training with Parker, but haven't been happy with the stands out there. The only ones that suit my needs are the Parrot wizards outrageously priced stands.

So I did some research and made my own. $30 per stand!!! So happy with how they came out (maybe a bit of refining needed but for my own I can deal with it). So easy!! Not gonna lie, it's so tempting to make these to sell and charge $50-60 per stand.

Take that Parrotdude!

Parker was hesitant but came around

His deal of $140 comes with 2 perches, a clicker, a target training stick, and an instructional DVD. So in the end I guess you can say that it is a fairly decent value given that you gotta expect him to want to make some sort of profit.

You can also get a tripod bottom with the three legs which is super stable, the longer the legs.

Sweet! Take a look at this, a plough disc. Much more stable compared to a mike stand!

Looks great! Problem is im only so handy. That to me looks like a start from scratch project. With the mic stands you have the threading to connect the pole. Not clear how a pole would be connected here.

True! But for someone like me who doesn't need all that stuff it wasn't a deal at all and is way overpriced.

I explicitly avoided tripods. Tripod anything in my life I've not found to be very stable. These suit parkers weight and force quite well from what I've found so far :)
