Changed the name and other ramblings

I wanted to call my Eckie Papi, but it just didn't seem to fit, so now he's Paulecki...

The last 2 days I have been working 12 hour shifts from 7 in the morning to 7 at night... I had to take Paulecki with me... The breeder said he was on 2 feeds per day, but I find he needs 3 feeds... He's 2 months old today...

I work with intellectually disabled people... and support 3 men in a shared house... and I had to take Paulie due to the long hours... The guys love him, and especially love the feeding times...

I have had so much feedback on the little bird - a lot of people come to the house, as in management, workers on the next shift, support workers taking the men out into the community..

Here are some of the responses I got, when they saw Paulie:

1. WOW, that's one old parrot!
2. Geeze, what's wrong with him? He looks worse than the quaker, who had been bitten by a rat..
3. OMG... it's gorgeous
4. Uhhh??? and then she asked questions, and I was able to tell her about the eclectus parrot...

These are not all of them, but I forget... They were both busy days... but most thought that he was either old or sick... He's definitely not old...

I already love him to bits...
