Anyone have opinions on walk in cages or the Centurion brands? I love the idea of a walk in cage for inside, but wondering if anyone has noted downfalls. It looks like they would be much easier to clean and I could install things anywhere in the cage by myself.

If you do have experience with the centurion brand, or with walk ins in general but do not feel comfortable stating your experience on the forum, please message me with your thoughts.

Call him up, I always forget his name (even tried to find our emails to figure it out). The guy is super nice, but you may need to wait a little bit for a reply and/or hound him. He's very passionate about his aviaries and since you're in Wichita he may even come over and put it together for you for a very reasonable rate (whihc would be worth it as sometimes they are tricky)! I have the A&E version of the 86" one and I know someone who has 5 Centurian 62x62s. The guy knows his stuff and his product is great, plus you get a level of customer support that A&E would never give, being local its a no brainer! He even helped me with rainproofing mine despite it not being his "brand".

My pieces of advice, really figure out what kind of flooring you can live with. You need something hard and washable, a sheet of vinyl on plywood works, a room with tile, etc. It can setup on carpet but cleaning the floor is just a total pain. Make sure you are 1000% sure of placement, once you get it up moving it is a real chore. Get some extra large rope perches and/or a cargo net, they give you extra perching flexibility. Be prepared to dislike the feeder system, the cups are small and the swing out design in not optimal...for the space, though, this con is worth it. Unless you absolutely must have black go with the lighter version...the black bars just make it look like a jail cell!

At first thought, the only negatives i can see is brining it outside when you need to clean it and the possibility of rust if its outside. but i have no experience with large aviaries

I know those guys as well. They're old timers.

I don't have one, but I really like their outdoor flights...
