Excuse my toe in the water approach to this forum. I have seen things in forums (all sorts of forums) that have kept me weary of them. So I have been lurking here without giving too much of my personal information.
That said I would like to give a tiny intro to me and my flock, I have two female Eclectus (a SI and RS) and two males both SI. I am looking at a 5 yr old male Vos rehome but I am unsure yet if this will pan out.
I work out of my home in a job I truly love which gives me lots of time with my fids.
As I get more comfortable I will participate more and include some pics of my wonderful babies.:D

Hello and welcome! I am so happy you introduced your self and are joining us.
I joined this forum in Nov. and I absolutely love it here:)
Looking forward to hearing stories about your flock and seeing their pics!

I think we may have found an ekkie fan ;-) Sounds like you love ekkies the way I love pois. Welcome to the forum and we're looking forward to seeing your babies when you're ready.

Yes, ekkies are the only parrots for me! They fit my lifestyle, dust allergen and personality to a T :D

I also am a vegetarian who loves to sprout, dehydrate, juice and make fresh smoothies so not only do my ekkies have great meals but they keep me on track with the right foods as well.

That's great. I'm a vegetarian too and I love sharing meals with my bird. I don't sprout and dehydrate (i think just out of not bothering!) but i love sharing a bunch of organic veggies with Gilbert (he loves it too).

Hey! Glad you put your toe in the water! Being an work-at-home-parront makes you the perfect servant for your pets!

Hi and welcome! I'm new here as well. I observed and learned for a while before getting my baby ekkie this past week, which inspired me to start participating.

Your post made me happy as I'm guessing I can learn a lot from you and your ekkies if/when your comfortable sharing. :) :red1:
