Caught out !!!! We must practise what we preach

OMG I got caught out.........

During our training sessions this week, I have been teaching Mishka to say......

What is the magic word P L E A S E

Whenever giving or asking him something I mentioned, what is the magic word P L E A S E

He had not said it yet till tonight, and what good timing LoL

Tonight I wanted to clean his cage, he refused to come out.
I must admit I was in a hurry, and just wanted to get the chore done and relax.

I tried everything, bribing him, offering him apple, even popcorn, yet he still refused to budge.

Eventaully I said Mishka I am not playing anymore, come out now !!

He went to the back of his cage, and sat on the highest perch and said.....

What is the magic word?

I stood there absolutely shocked, and began to laugh.

When I contained myself and said P L E A S E, he willingly stepped up onto my hand.

I know Mishka understands fully what I am teaching him, otherwise he would not have made such a statement.

I guess for the next few weeks, this is all I am going to be asked.
