Cat allergies, need food options

A friends cat has a yeast allergy problem. Finding any food that wont worsen the problem has proved frustrating for her. The cat has skin allergies probably due to the overgrowth of intestinal yeast (candida albicans).

Can anyone suggest a brand of food or a website that can aid in solving this riddle? Thanks in advance.

Their best bet might be to have their vet recommend a food and treatment for the allergies, and then follow thru with it. Allergies can be tough to figure out what substance is causing the problem

Unfortunately the brand the office staff recommended contains brewers yeast.

I would highly recommend a RAW diet. Do the switch gradually though to prevent intestinal upset.
