cape parrot male or female?

Hi!
Im going to buy a cape soon and wanted to ask if in your opinion does gender play a role in personalities of cape parrots? Who is predominantly sweeter? Who goes through more hormonal changes? who is sweeter and cuddlier? males or females? or it really does not matter?

From what I've read, females tend to remain sweeter when the big hormonal changes come around.

From what I've witnessed living with other smaller Poicephalus, I found it true that within the individuals of my flock, the females were easier to predict when hormones are kicking around. Not to say the the males are horrible, but they could be a bit more challenging.

The personal experience combined with the different reports is what drove me to get a female Cape - but she's no pushover, she has quite a bit of personality and right now she's at the stage where she is testing boundaries. It's interesting for sure!
