On wed.aug 8 i came home from a job that starts at 445am. It was around noon. I was making my rounds with the kids and i noticed a fowl smell coming from the sugar glider enclosure. Found one of my girls with wet tail..aka..bad diarrhea. Her belly was swollen and she was only alittle dehydrated. Battling a vit c deficiony made it hard for her to walk. But mahla was a fighter..that happy little girl never let anything get in her way. I wanted someone to talk me out of bringing her to the vet to say goodbye. No one did. The vet said with tons of meds and sub q fluids every hour...she MIGHT live . in November i tried this with another glider..she got worse. So i made the call. My mahla is gone. Now i wish i would have tried.she was strong.i feel like i failed her. The people in my life have been very cold about this.parents say good now u have less animals.boyfriend didnt even hug me as i cryed wed night. Mahla came from good people with her sister. The couple was moving overseas and couldnt take them with.they were so loving.she was loving. Thanks for reading.
