Roxy turns 1 year old this month! 
Her breeder does not know what specific day she hatched, so I'll just go with the beginning of September . I got her back in January and wow has she grown! Last month her vocabulary tripled and now she is starting to vocalize other words that I can't figure out yet lol. (thus far she says: thank you, whatcha doin, and hey baby)
For anyone in our forum that is a teacher, have you ever tried the "teacher stare" on your bird as behavior training?? Roxy will stop any behavior right away and back up if I give her the "stare" lol Works a lot better than "no" or moving her.
I NEVER thought I would own a bird, but now I can't imagine my life without her.
