Can parrots chew hot glue (that isnt hot) also can they chew crayon on cardbaord

Hi, RicoParrot.

No, those substances may be harmful to your bird.
It's like having a human baby: things you don't want her/him to chew should be hidden in a place your bird can't reach.

Greetings. 😊

i know but i was making a toy for my parrot
is there any glue that isnt dangerous

I don't know any. Little children must also be supervised by an adult even while using "non-toxic" glue.

Please, if you can avoid it, don't use that kind of substances nearby your parrot. Some toys ideas are cute, but not suitable for parrots. I have also answered another question about drawing on the cardboard house.

Elmer's white wood glue is commonly considered safer in small qualities and only when fully dried. As with near all products now a days one must always be aware of were the product is manufactured.

Heck, my cousin used to drink that stuff. It’s probably great protein. But icky.

Yes, I use Elmer’s school glue on bird things that I need glued.

One uses the same parameters when defining what color products can be used. Where the colors are formulated (made) and what carrier is used. Child safe products should be one's starting place, remembering; location, location location of manufacture. With crayons, one has wax as the primary carrier, plus several chemicals to hold the color. IMHO, there is not much safe out there and what is requires that one is very careful regarding how much. Child safe food coloring with water can be brushed-on, in thin amounts.
