Can I pay extra to remove ads?

I can't believe the ad revenue is that much, and I'd be willing to pay in advance if I could have an ad-free screen. Or at least get rid of the ad at the top. I have a metered internet connection and they use data plus they are annoying.

K, consider view using 'Active Topics' and let me know if that helps. I switched to AT to off set a like problem and another problem with the way my computer is configured to increase its limited speed (older unit). I find that it helped me greatly.

That's always where I start. I just don't like ads and would happily pay to get them removed, but if it's not possible then it's just the way it is.
 
I don't think so, Karen. The forum business model heavily depends on revenue from ads. While it would be nice to have an alternate form of paid membership, there is nothing I'm aware of on the horizon.
 
Yes, I found a supersecret way to remov ads from our forum! Send me $20 for the answer. Oh heck, I like you, so here it is. Electrical tape to cover those pesky ads! LOL.
