We are thinking about rescuing a b@G off craigs list. We currently have a bluefront amazon ( he was a craigs list bird as well ). My amazon has adapted to our busy life with no problems. We both work and get home between 4 and 5 but we have baseball and soccer practice a few times per week with the kids. Our amazon is out in the morning and every second we our home and as much as possible on the weekends in between games. The birds would be kept in the main family room and we always leave cartoons on for Bud ( amazon ) He loves jake and the never land pirates. I feel that even if it is not perfect he will be better off then going home to home as most of these birds and exotics do. Just looking on craigs list within 2 hours of my house There is 12 macaws listed. What do you think? do you think he will adapt to the time we can give him? he will have tons of toys and all that stuff and will not be cage bound just not out all day long everyday. Thanks for your help. Jay
