Both my wife and I work at home but I will be on the road two to three days a week. My wife has the pleasure of unwrapping Cameos cage and feed & watering her in the morning. Cameo loves Jean so there is never a problem.
I am on the road this day and about noonish I get a call on my cell phone. It was my wife laughing til it hurt.
I had bought a good seed blend of bird food for Cameo that I use to blend it in with the fresh fruit and veggies.I store this in a plastic container just as I do with Cameos pellet food. Cameo has torn through the bags and strew her food all over the kitchen already so we decided to do this to keep cameo out.
Jean laughing still explained that she had heard a strange noise in the kitchen so she went to investigate. Cameo decided that she would open the so called raccoon proof tupperware container her food was in. She took the lid off and then squeezed into the tupperware container still half sealed to have a snack. The lid part she opened flipped back into place partially closing the lid enough that Cameo was trapped. It was then when Cameo screamed and ranted some kind of jibberish. Jean opening the lid to let Cameo out and Cameo said "Thank You"
She has never said this before but we have been teaching our grandkids manors at the dinner table. It dawned on Jean that what Cameo was trying to say while screaming for help was "Please". To top this all off Jean putting Cameo back on her cage solded Cameo for making a big mess again. Cameo replies by saying in a real soft tone "Sorry" Like the guilty sort she was.
Cameo again must have picked that word up from the girls since they are constantly argueing and fighting and we are always making them apologize to each other. It is unbelievable what thse UTOOS can do.
We love her so.
