Caique reverted to a baby?

Hi all,
So you know when birds are babies and they make that steaming noise, well my 8 month old caique has reverted to doing the same thing? she constantly has fresh food including pellets and fruits and veg. She has many toys which she uses but she will just sit there and be a baby, i really do not understand why.

Please let me know your thoughts.

That little darling is STILL a baby, kinda! Very young. The Rb reverted to baby behavior for the first couple of years. Wing-flapping, squatting, "purring" with beak open...

I think it's part of growing up.

Thats what my mums says! She's doing this at this very moment and lets just say its ear piercing. At first i though it was attention seeking, but maybe not

Any abnormal behavior can sometimes warrant a vet visit. I hope it's nothing!

I'll agree, Monica... couldn't hurt...
I do suppose that a reversion to baby-isms might be related to some kind of distress...
