Caique color sensitivity

We are planning to buy a Rabbitair room air purifier before we bring home our Caique. We are considering one of the artists series front cover for the unit. How sensitive are Caiques to color patterns?

Interesting question, certainly got me thinking.
I would come to a conclusion that there should not be any problem in regards to colour sensitivity. From personal experience I would say the brighter the colour the more attracted the bird might be. Hopefully someone else will be able to fill in more detail

Not sure, but I had an Amazon that was very frightened of the color red.

The Rb is very reactive to any new decor stuff... but he gets over it, usually within a week or two.
Good for you, for being really vigilant about possible problems.

I personally would avoid the colour red, in nature red is a big danger sign (hence why most venomous/poisonous creatures have red markings on them)
