To anyone that needs newspaper material and can't find any, go to your local grocery store and ask if you can have their old adds. Most grocery stores have stacks they just throw away.

Thankfully my girlfriend works at Frys, so I get all the free newspaper I need

No, Ive never even heard of them before! But I might just have to visit them. Can you tell me anything about them? Are they just a pet store or a rescue?

I live over on Guadalupe and Ellsworth. I do volunteer at Arizona Exotic Bird Rescue, Inc. once a week and might be adopting one of their Amazon's after March. I would definetly check them out!

Where do you find the rolls of newsprint?
I'm trying to source out local rolls of brown Kraft/packing paper to fit the size of my cages (so I only need to worry about one dimension when I cut it).

I used to newspaper, but I find it very messy. I now use 'back 2 nature' small animal litter and bedding, and it works great. It's made from recycled cardboard and newspaper

It is a small bird store on the north side of Apache Trail. Their address is 1000 West Apache Trail Apache Junction, AZ 85120 (480) 983-3745. It's so awesome that I bought a home that is three miles from them. BTW the store owners name is Linda. It just a small shop and is one of the cleanest bird stores I've every been in. It does not have a tremendous amount of parrot supplies but Linda loves for people who become familiar to come and and spend time with the birds.

I've also been to AZ Bird Store (formerly Cage World), Claudia's Bird Store, Dalton Bird Store and the AZ Exotic Bird Rescue. Of all of them I like the feel of Pretty Feathers the most and Linda also breads her birds.

Where do you find the rolls of newsprint?
I'm trying to source out local rolls of brown Kraft/packing paper to fit the size of my cages (so I only need to worry about one dimension when I cut it).

Not sure where you are, but our local newspaper used to sell rolls. Once they got to a certain amount they'd dump them due to the risk of not printing the paper properly or something. The newspaper has HUGE rolls, and their "small" rolls are about as big as the one posted above. worth a shot.
