cage/aviary floor

Easy would be newspaper end rolls. Or you could do something with laminate or acrylic sheets.

Kiwi has a "normal" cage on wheels, but since he's free roaming we have to protect the floor underneath. We got some plywood and put linoleum flooring on top. Cleans up really easy! That might work well under that aviary.

You could try putting titles down or news paper as a more conventional method. So exciting to see this. Tell us when it's built.

I had considered newspaper, but trying to replace this all the time, and having a parrot that will likely chew it up, I think it may wind up being more hassle.

I was thinking linoleum. Can you typically buy this in a "roll"

I had considered plywood, but would be concerned about moisture/urates making that gross somewhat quickly.

Considering going big for Kalani's cage.
Looking at this model

What would be a good, cheap, easy to clean flooring for indoor use?

Don, I have seen a video (which I couldn't find at the moment) of a Centurion Cage (the company that makes this cage). The cage has feet which actually can keep the entire cage up off the floor. The owner had a continuous roll of Kraft paper on one end of the cage, which can be rolled up from the other end of the cage and the entire mess gets tossed. Then a new layer of Kraft paper is now on the cage floor!!

You can get a 60" roll of 40# Kraft paper 900' long for around $73 from companies like Uline.

Those Centurion cages are so awesome!!

Wow! Nice cage. Linoleum would work well for the floor!
