Cacophony!

I've always wanted to use that word, it means, harsh, jarring sound; discord. At the moment I have Amigo, in his living room cage and Sassy in her living room cage and they are being, cacophonous!!

Thankfully my hearing isn't what it use to be!

If Amigo is in his cage, he will watch her quietly. Until he decides to get loud. Their cages are about 20ft. apart. I leave her door open during the day and she bounces around all over her cage. She has no interest in going over to visit Amigo.

After a while, I locked her up and let Amigo out, just to see how this would work. That is a definite no, go. He flew directly to her cage and even though he is over twice her size, she is cage aggressive. Well....Amigo was fine, until that happened. All I can say is, thankfully she was behind bars. It would not have been pretty. I pull him off her cage and put him back into his.

I will always keep her protected from him. Hopefully, some day, they will be able to tolerate each other. For now, he will have to watch her from afar.

Wow , that must have been scary !! Yeah , definitely let them admire each other from their own cages......good thing you were there !!
