So, originally my husband bought me my Amazons cause we found out i was severely allergic to the new dog he had gotten me for my birthday. I tried everything to make it work with her. She was a Bloodhound/Bassethound. She basically looked like a bloodhound one 4 inch legs. It was by dar the cutest thing i have ever seen. I had never realized i was allergic as growing up we only had outside dogs and the first and only dog I and my family had had was an older adoption who was so old she had lost almost all her hair and was almost bald, and what little hair she had was wirehaired. So when she moved on we got daisy and low and behold... achoo... achoo... sniffle ...scniffle... burning eyes... and so on. So we had her outside alot but the weather is getting cold so a friend down the block stopped over to say hi and was all." OMG I LOVE UR DOG! I totally want her." He took her that day (Last night) and told us my son may come visit her anytime he wants! So as happy as i was to find her a perfect home, I have never been without a dog in the house and i miss her. I am over showering my remaining pets with affection, (2 cats and my amazons) and i think it his me how much i was over loving on them today when i went to play with my ammies again and my female scream, " HELP HELP HELP" when i approached her playgym like she does when the cat is bothering her. ...lol...sigh.. I need a hobby. Maybe a new young bird i can share the extra love with! lol Uh OH i smell new adoption again!:D

That must have been extremely difficult for you. I was a vet tech & dogs were always my life. I can't imagine what you are going through right now. That's hysterical what your bird said. Dogs adjust well to new homes & it's great that they're letting your son visit.
