Ever since Buzz came to live with us he makes Baby Bird sounds. Today while shopping I heard Buzz in the store!!! So I went looking following the sound to find Buzz making his Baby Bird sounds and here is what I found. I recorded it and sent it to Husband asking him who does this sound like? He replied Buzz. It's a perfect copy of Buzz or he's a perfect copy of this Bird lol. We thought he made these sounds because he was raised by a breeder but apparently not. We've been cracking up. When I get home I'll play it for him.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?????????????

I bet that an experienced bird-watcher could identify the birdsong, I betcha! Maybe some wild ones live/lived near your little mimic...

Perjo heard it when I played it and was at full attention, she'll have it down by the end of the day if I play it 2-3 more times.

Not a bad sound for a bird to make on a regular basis either. It's not too much or overbearing. As much as a Macaw is a beautiful bird I personally cannot deal with the sounds they make, much happier that I got something else in that regard.

If the Rickeybird (who can't even really whistle, and just voices it) developed a version of that sweet song, it would come out sounding like

"RITRIT ROOO REEEEEEEEEEEEET RAKKK RAKKKK RAKKKREEEEEEEET REEEEEEEEEEEEEET RIT RIT RIR RIT RAKKKK RAKKKK RAKKK!!!!!"

... at about 125 decibels...
