I ordered some new perches, snacks and toys from Petco for my birds. Today I put Buddy's foraging snack in his cage, it's trying to eat him. Venus, too busy to be bothered, Buzz so interested! I hung it and he went right to it. After a few minutes I hear a snap, look over and he had broken the rope and was carrying the treat to another perch. I was cracking up! It amazes me how quickly he took to it and he cleaned it out quick!

Here he is holding his huge snack lol!

Very awesome!!! I've been looking on amazon for a new treat or toy to entertain Timneh. Whats this snack treat called? We've been doing those compressed cardboard rings lately Timneh gets a kick out of em but they don't last very long. Timneh's too small to hold that log the way Buzz is thats for sure. Timnehs been at a steady 298 grams the last couple months.

Here it is. I discovered Snak Shak perches when we brought Buddy home. His beak was very overgrown and the perch really helped get his beak back to normal. This is a Snak Shak log and hassles in it. That turkey has already gotten treats inside out so I stuffed a grape, pieces of apple, almonds and corn in it and he's back to pulling his treats out.

Sweet Timneh had her beak trimmed and it bled a little and she was screaming. Hop fully she won't have to have that done again anytime soon. I'm sure she won't soon forget the visit to the vets.
