Had her first shower today. Bundii always usually bathes in her water bowl but today I decided to take into the shower. She seemed to enjoy it. There was no birdie wings out but she just sat there with the water streaming over her. She did not want to get out. After her shower, her dad blow dried her so she did not get cold.

No in the shower pics but I got some from after.

Pretty wing and back feathers. They are just glowing. :D

She is lovely. Such good looking emerald green plumage on her wings!!
Isn't it nice when you try something new with them and they love it. She will call out when she hears the shower now!!!!

Bundii says thank you for the compliments.

I think it is going to be Bundii and mumma special time. Something that her and I do and not with my hubby who is her chosen one. Hopefully this might make her more inclined to spend some time with mumma. :)

There are some things that just need to be done in Girl Time, aren't there? Bundii is looking ever so seductive! Barney and Madge look like doormats as they are moulting. :22_yikes:

What a beautiful girl Bundii is after her bath. I bet she smells nice too!

Pretty, pretty, Bundibird! Amanda, I think you should claim all Bundi's future spa days for you and her alone.

Awww...she's beautiful!

Bundii is just gorgeous, as always! I am so thrilled you have found a great way to have girl time with her:)

Awww poor Barn and Madgie. Bundii sends them big hugs. Bundii has lost 3 flight feathers this week. It won't be long before green feather decorate my floors all day. :D

Thanks April. She does smell pretty.

Everyone talks about Amazon huffing but there is also something about Alex huffing as well!!!! :D

So my baby is moulting again. She has lost both of her long tail feathers this week. She is now a short tailed alex. :D.

She was moulting before Christmas and had seemed to have finished. She lost very little feathers while we were at my mum and dads for christmas. Now that we are home again, she to has started again. There are green feathers everywhere.

I have a photo that I took today of her and her short tail.

Also one of her trying to steal one of her dad's Christmas presents.

Must be the time for Duck Bums here in Oz, eh Amanda? Dear Madge bit Barney's lovely tail feathers and put a kink in them, but just two days later, he moulted them onto the floor of the cage, so I have two little Duck Bums atm.

Still... there's something INCREDIBLY cute about a Duck Bummed Alexandrine, isn't there? Barney and Madge say 'G'day!' to their dear friend, Bundii. :)

I agree, Trish, they are so precious with their duck butts:)
Bundii is always gorgeous, no matter how many feathers she is sporting:)

Bundii is always so cute Amanda :) AND beautiful!!

Bundii says Thank You to all the lovely comments. :)

Trish and Terry, I am a bit partial to an alex duck butt, but I may be bias. :D

I do love their beautiful long tails but when Bundii has her duck butt thing happening, I just find it so cute.
