Bulding a play gym, what wood is safe for amazon?

(If it is in the wronge place please move!) ok I live in Houston, Texas, I am gonna go into the woods as soon it get a little warmer but I am looking to build my YNA a gym or tree hang out I was wondring if pinetree wood is ok or what I can use or not use. thanks for helping

Pine is on the safe list, but be sure that it's not fresh pine. The sap or pitch in fresh pine is very sticky and tough to remove once it sticks to a parrot's feathers.
