Are there any breeders of buff-faced pygmy parrots, and if so are any of the driving distance from Denver, Colorado? These appear to be beautiful animals and I would love to have a hand fed one to compliment Bob.

I have never heard of this species....I will have to go searching the web...thanks for the chance for me to learn something new...I can't wait to read all about this species....

Wow, what an interesting little creature...they sure are tiny....have you done a lot of reading about them? I came across this article and thought you might find it interesting.
Pygmy Parrots: Information and Photos

I don't think you will be finding one to adopt....It sounds like they would be impossible to keep as a pet for the time being anyway and could you imagine if it were to get sick...I don't think a vet would know what to do with it. Again, wow, what a neat little and I do mean LITTLE species....here is another link with video ...hope you haven't seen this one yet...
I am curious how you even heard of these little critters...

Thanks for the info, that explains why I couldn't find a breeder.
