So my friend ordered some perches for his budgies and the manzantia ones are wider than he expected can he still use them or will it be bad for the budgies feet
Also the java perch seems darker in certain parts picture attached is it still safe to use.

The perches are fine! Variation in color is become more common as the demand has increased. In the past, they had been highly selective in color and size/shape. As the popularity has greatly increased, the suppliers have opened the selection process.

The Birds will enjoy the variation in shape and size.

Ok l was asking because I thought budgies shouldn't have perches bigger than 1 to 2 com in diameter these are slight larger around 3 cm

The best perch size for any Parrot is a wide cross-section of sizes and shapes that allow their claws to vary the pressure on their claw pads when perching. This duplicates their natural world.

Yep itā€™s great to have wide perches!!! My budgie prefer very very large perches! Like made fir a cockatoo size perches, like said above various sizes are good for long term foot joint health

My parrotlet seems to love wider perches. I ordered ā€œsmallā€ and they arenā€™t small but she doesnā€™t care.

Also can manzanita wood be dark brown in colour like in the puc I though that it would be orange. Also does it matter if it didnt have a label saying who the manufacturer was. He ordered it from northern parrots.

I have a massive apple tree limb hanging from the ceiling in my aviary, and all the kids love it (budgies, parrotlet, lovebird). New birds take a few weeks learning how to grip it and move around since the branches are extremely different sizes. Some parts are so wide they have to stand with their toes spread completely open, while other spots are so narrow it bends under their weight.

As for manzanita, I find it tends to be a dark, rich, slightly red colour. Manzanita is extremely easy to clean, since it's bark is so smooth and doesn't get stained with droppings the same way other natural perches tend to.
