11 budgies in aviary
Hi I am new here I have 11 new budgies in outdoor aviary they have been raised on seed food, what is the best food for them I was thinking pellets. At the moment they are not touching the pellets just the seed. Any advice welcomed.

Frist, assure that they are only eating a High Quality Seed Diet that is mixed in a Human Grade facility using seeds from farms that only produce product for Human grade mixing facilities. Common cheap assures none of that!

Second, Add Veggies (Chop) to their diet!

I throw everything at them....
Things they like

ALSO SEEDS!!!!!!!!!!

Also Millet, broccoli, cauliflour, an cucumber slices. I've seen em munch on the conures apple slices as well.

They eat much better than I do.

Tried to order some of these products but not in the uk, but thanks.

Budgies…. They always surprise you! Maybe try introducing chop to them? It will be hard to change their diet but maybe they will eat it! Never know what a budgie does!

Budgies in aviaries love to roll in and eat wet salad greens. Put a large plate of wet lettuce, spinach and even pesticide free fresh grass clippings on the floor of the aviary with a dish of seed close by to lure them in and hopefully they will get the hint.
All my budgies love fresh broccoli. You can clip the florets to the wire.

We would love to see photos of your flock of budgies!
