Buddy, The Little Sneak

This morning Buddy came out of his cage to join me for coffee, this is our routine each morning. I get my coffee, sit in the livingroom with Buddy on my shoulder and look at the news. He preens and chatters, gets head scritches and tries to check out the inside of my cup. I went to make my second cup, and as I walked in the kitchen, Buddy flew off my shoulder and landed on the kitchen floor. I didn't pick him up right away, I got the coffee maker set up to make another cup and started cutting up red pepper and I was talking to him, he's making sounds at me, I also wanted to see if he'd explore. Then it got quiet so I stopped what I was doing and look on the floor, he's not there. I check under the table and work my way into the livingroom, no Buddy just Canelo working on his 20 hour coma on the couch. I call Buddy, no answer, keep calling and hear him and to the noise. That stinker was standing by the door to Husband's office where Venus is. He hasn't seen her, I know he's heard her and I was really surprised to see he walked to the office. I pick him up and told him not yet. Well now I'm wondering what he's going to try next when he gets an opportunity but it was cute seeing him looking for "the other bird", lol.

Well, I hope they'll be friends when they do get together.

He cant help it "Theres a girl in the castle" LOL now that I think about it my zon Tequila has a big crush on the red female birds in the house . Hes funny theirs lots of WOO HOOs I thought he might like the color red :}.
