Hello everybody I am new to this forum after searching for answers and found great information here I have decided to join. Thank you for all the advice in advance.

I adopted two beautiful baby girls a Sun Conure and a Blufon Macaw 8 weeks ago. The sun conure, named Mango ( I know every sun conure is named Mango :) ) is finally weened and ready to come home as of tomorrow. What I would like to know is... which will be better?, to bring her home in the morning? or at night time? ( I was thinking morning )

My humble opinion? Whatever your schedule allows! Your new baby is confused and scared no matter what!

Just retread your question, I agree, morning! Exhausting day will allow for a better night!

I'd agree to coming back in the morning simply because a night of panic calls and nervous screaming is no fun.

not to say it will stop by night time but you have maximised your chances of a relatively peacefull night.

Good luck and enjoy your new feathered family.

Second day home it looks like she likes it. She did great last night and today. She won't stop eating, she has some toys but she doesn't play much. Is it because this are her first toys? Any suggestions on how much time to spend holding her during the day? At night she likes me to hold her until she falls to sleep on me, then I put her in her cage, she doesn't make any noise after that. should I continue holding her at night until she starts falling asleep? Here are some pictures
